Wassup! My name is Teresa and I was a pretty bad ass future professional in the Paul Mitchell School system. I never did hair before until the day I enrolled in Paul Mitchell and with a little ambition I went to Caper twice, Beacon, assisted Dave Holland, Colin Caruso, Ladonna Dryer, Mark Bunkall, Ira Pope Sage and more on stage. I worked with the lunatic fringe artistic team on a photo shoot as well as the advanced academy. I am an intern for Vivienne Mackinder in New York(where I am right now) and I work in Seattle at a high end barber shop and intern for American Crew. I had one of the highest request rates my hair school has ever seen and I won several retail competitions. I placed third in the state of Idaho for men’s grooming and I’m writing this from Vivienne Mackinder’s basement. In my year of hair school, I got my name out there and became a real power player of a future professional. I am considering teaching a mini class at Caper the friday before everything starts in which I will reveal all my secrets including;
How to get the most out of your caper experience
building a loyal clientele
attracting the sort of hair you want to be doing
goal setting/achieving
internet networking
expanding your contact list
finding a good mentor
making your own brand
How to get your name out there
Tips to winning Beacon
who to contact for the part of the industry you are headed to.
and much, much more!
Woud you come? I think we would have it at serendipity 3 outside of Caesars Palace and we would meet up, talk and I would teach what I could in about an hours time. I’m gonna be giving out most of my email addresses of people that can help you and sharing some secrets to making the most out of your caper weekend. If I know 10 people will show, I will send some emails to some of my mentors and I will see if I can get a special guest to show up. Reblog and reply to this if you would come.
